THE MISTERY OF ART
DESCRIPTION
The exhibition features original works by an artist real myth of Pop Art, shows the object of consumption transformed into multidisciplinary art with 41 works by Andy Warhol, considered one of the most brilliant and influential men of his time and one of the artists who best reflects those years.
Among the works on display, there is the installation The Electric Chair, 5 oils, collage different photographs, acrylic and silkscreen that explore the themes of politics and of American popular culture. Also interesting is the famous series of Campbell’s soup cans and Coca-Cola, as well as MITS with the portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Mick Jagger and Prince.
The exhibition also includes “collaborations” with Peter Psaier signature, the Italian artist who died recently. We don’t know much about him, except that he met Warhol in the mid-’60s and became a great friend, a mystery that still surrounds Warhol’s life.
