PASSIONE, RIBELLIONE E LUCIDA FOLLIA
DESCRIPTION
A hundred Dalí ’s coloured wood carved writings representing people and icons from Dante’s Hell, Purgatory and Paradise will be showed in three different locations and periods:
- July 12 – August 21: Follonica, Pinacoteca Civica
- August 26–Semptember 18: Castell’Azzara, Villa Sforzesca
- September 25 – October 30: Porto S.Stefano, Fortezza Spagnola
Dalì, the master of surrealism, and Dante, the father of the Italian culture, is an unexpected meeting. The Spanish artist interprets the poet’s verses creating dramatic shapes and colours, sometimes grotesque, sometimes ironic, sometimes sensual.
