With over 112 works, several never before exhibited, Fernando Botero: The Triumph of Form offers Korean viewers a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the creative universe of a master whose originality has left an indelible mark on the history of art.

Curated by Lina Botero, conceived and coordinated by Artemisia, and organized in collaboration with the Fernando Botero Foundation, the exhibition presents Korean audiences with a unique opportunity to explore the artistic universe of one of the twentieth century’s most celebrated masters.

Today Botero is regarded as one of the most important painters of the twentieth century, and this tribute highlights both the richness and the technical diversity of his œuvre, universally celebrated for its unique style grounded in the exaltation of form and volume. Each painting, drawing, and sculpture in the exhibition is a window onto his world: a universe where the extraordinary lies within the everyday, and the monumental within the simple.
